What is the difference between Workability and Employability?


Employability:



This term is being widely used, comes from English and means Employability "the set of knowledge, skills and behaviors that make important business for any company." Employability is the condition that has o'profissional or must present to suit the new market demands.

Employability means having to know the tools that the market demands. In other words, the more your skills approach the professional profile required by the new times, the greater the chances in the labor market; ie, greater employability.

To know if we have Employability, we must ask some questions:
- My professional career is interesting and is able to attract the market?
- My qualifications and specializations are interesting enough to differentiate me from my competitors?
- My personal life is interesting for the market or hinder me compared to my professional career?
- What is my differential compared to my competitors?
- If I had a business and needed to hire a competent professional to my position, I'd hire me or rather someone more qualified?
- You complain of government, life, the world, your family, HR, business because it can not move to a better job or why can not replace?
- Do you take some action to improve their employability? Or just keeps sitting on the couch complaining?

Workability:


A new concept that has appeared to those who study and updates on career planning and leadership is the workability. Very different from the employability of meaning, this involves the idea of how a person can work and generate income.


Employability x Workability:

Employability is a concept that emerged in the 90s and has to do with the value of a professional in the labor market. That is, how much it is worth in the sense of transactions, market and acquiring a job. That is, the higher the employment of a person, it is more attractive to the market.
While the workability goes further, it is a concept of the 2000s and much more advanced. The workability refers to the ability to generate work beyond job. It's like the person you see producing economically, whether as an employee, consultant, entrepreneur, in short, all the multiple forms of work.
